And you will have confidence, because there is hope; you will be protected and take your rest in safety.

Thought

Hope is more than an emotion. Hope is more than naïve optimism or wishful thinking. Hope is more than a positive attitude. Hope is more than a passive wish or dream. On this day of rest for your soul, abide in the safety of authentic spiritual hope.

Prayer

God, I have confidence because there is hope. May I rest this day in the protection of hope. Amen.

I hope for the future because the future belongs to God.
