God never runs away from you, especially when you grieve. You may run from God, but God is always here for you. The mission of a shepherd is to lead and guide the way. A shepherd’s job is to ensure protection and safe passage. The shepherd desires nothing less than complete safety for the flock. As you grieve, remember that God is here. God has not run away.
