Thought

The experience of Christmas may come to you any day, not just December 25. Expect it. Be open to it. Christmas comes when someone reaches out to you in love. Christmas comes when you reach out to someone in love. Expect an unexpected blessing. Be a blessing to others. Christmas. Emmanuel. God with us. God with you.

Prayer

God, on this day of rest for my soul I marvel anew at the all that you do in love for me. I praise you this day for the glory of Christ. Amen.
