Grief is Acceptance - Preparation

We know that in everything God works for good with those who love him, who are called according to his purpose.

Thought

Grief is acceptance. You may believe with certainty that God works in everything for good with those who love God and are called according to God’s purpose. Yet you may question how the death of your loved one can possibly be for good in your life. The case for acceptance lies within the prepositions: “in everything God works for good with those who love him” .

Prayer

God, I love you and want to live according to your purpose. I know that you are with me in everything and pray that you will continue to work to shape my life in your meaning and purpose. Amen.

Assurance

God works for good; God uses my experience of death and grief to promote deeper, more profound faith.
