Peace is deep spiritual contentment. It is the exquisite, calm silence within that simply is. Peace does not overwhelm you all at once and for all time. You are not suddenly there. Peace comes in small, elusive moments when fleeting glints of emotional sunshine warm your heart and then fade. Your moments of peace recur with greater frequency until at last your life is more about contentment than pain and more about peace than grief.
