Examine yourselves to see whether you are living in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not realize that Jesus Christ is in you?

With everlasting love I will have compassion on you, says the LORD, your Redeemer.

God’s love was revealed among us in this way: God sent his only Son into the world so that we might live through him.

Just as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.

If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.

Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ has forgiven you.

Be content with what you have; for he has said, “I will never leave you or forsake you.”

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not let them be afraid.

Happy are those whom you discipline, O LORD.

I will turn their mourning into joy, I will comfort them, and give them gladness for sorrow.
