Do not let the sun go down on your anger.

The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love.

In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, LORD, make me dwell in safety.

“I will never leave you or forsake you.”

Rejoice in hope, be patient in suffering, persevere in prayer.

Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and through grace gave us eternal comfort and good hope, comfort your hearts and strengthen them in every good work and word.

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

I will not die, but live . . .. The LORD . . . has not given me over to death.
